An Invitation to my First Fundraising Dinner

I am delighted to invite you, friends and family to my 1st Fundraising Dinner that will be held at Hardwick Hall Hotel, Sedgefield on Wednesday 25th January 2023 at 7 pm, dress code will be Black-tie/lounge suit.
The event will include a sumptuous three-course meal, raffle & auction, music throughout the evening and an entertaining after-dinner speech by inspirational speaker, Mike Barton CBE retired Durham Chief Constable.
Mike, as many of you will know, worked closely with my predecessor the late Ron Hogg MBE. The pair were trailblazers and innovators during their successful careers and always pushed traditional boundaries to achieve sustainable results by preventing crime, protecting individuals and communities, deterring offending and reoffending and pursuing organised crime gangs. Under their stewardship, Durham was judged to be the best performing Force in the Country for 4 years running, after receiving the highest possible grade by inspectors – certainly an achievement to be proud of and an impressive legacy for them both.
We have some great prizes too including:

- Spa day for two at Ramside Hall Spar
- One night stay in the Ramside Hall Tree House for eight people (Auction).
The next Police and Crime Commissioner elections are due to be held in May 2024
To help me secure another Labour PCC victory to represent the residents of County Durham and Darlington I am keen to build up a fighting fund.
2021 was very challenging and I saw first-hand how much the opposition invested in their social media campaigns, so we need to prepare and prepare well. This fundraiser will help me develop another strong Labour campaign and give me a firm financial foundation upon which to build my campaign.
Since being elected I have worked tirelessly and made every effort to cover the length and breadth of the Force area. I recently produced an annual report (attached) highlighting the many achievements delivered between May 2021 and March 2022.
